 Hi! I'm Kristen Martina, owner and creator   of Zjeitu.co.

 I was born and raised on the beautiful   Caribbean island of Curaçao and I'm   currently living in the Netherlands. I have a   background in criminology and decided to   start Zjeitu.co as a creative outlet for the   jewelry, hair jewelry and sculptures I make. 

 Zjeitu is a word in the creole language   Papiamentu, spoken on my   island Curaçao, meaning speed, spirit,   energy and style. When you do something   with zjeitu, you do it with big energy, with   passion and with a spark in your soul. 

 I love to create with my hands. I used to   love making all sorts of things as a child.   Zjeitu.co is a way to hold on to the fun of   creating, to be grateful and cherish the life   we have, and to live it with spark and   joy, whilst remembering to do the things   we love, the things that make us us!
